Pay & Compensation Policy


By virtue of the TREASURY ACT 2025, and the authority vested in me as Secretary of the Treasury, this Order authorises the Habbo White House Pay & Compensation policy with immediate effect:

1. Purpose

This policy establishes the official procedures for recording work hours, validating attendance, and providing remuneration to employees of the Habbo White House.

 


2. Working Days & Time Standard

2.1 Official Time Zone

  • Working hours are managed in Sydney, Australia time (AEST/AEDT).
  • All time references across platforms will reflect AEST/AEDT.

2.2 Daily Work Commencement

  • At the beginning of a workday, an official announcement will be posted on the White House Discord (#pay-logs) to confirm the commencement of that day’s payroll period.
  • Time references will also be displayed on;
    • The Habbo White House website, and;
    • The in-game Headquarters clock

 


3. Salary Rates & Limits

3.1 Base Pay Rate

  • All employees are entitled to remuneration of three (3) credits per hour worked.

3.2 Daily Pay Caps

  • Daily pay caps apply to all employees
  • Base pay is capped at 4 hours/day (12c)
  • Overtime pay is 1c/hour capped at 3 hours/day (3c)
  • 15c total can be earned per day

3.3 Low Ranks

  • Low ranks may not claim pay after five (5) days
    • Pay is suspended after the 5th day until the member joins a branch

3.5 Definitions

  • An hour of work is defined as:
    • An active presence within Headquarters, and;
    • All activity checks passed upon assignment, and;
    • Completion of assigned or approved tasks

 


4. Salary Collection

 

4.1 Payment Authority & Collection

  • Pay must be verified by the Department of Treasury on a separate sheet before pay can be claimed.
  • All salary payments are disbursed by DoT or EOP
  • Payments are not automated and must be requested.
    • Employees must contact DoT or EOP to arrange a collection time.
  • Quitting or being fired voids the entire current balance owed.

 


5. Salary Penalties

5.1 Financial Penalties

  • The Department of the Treasury, Inspectors, Branch Leaders and the Executive Office of the President can deduct pay for abuse of the system. This may include:
    • Failing Activity Checks
    • Not completing branch tasks
  • The financial penalties will be as follows:
    • Failing Activity Checks
      • 1st Infraction - Warning
      • 2nd Infraction - 5c Deduction
      • 3rd Infraction - 10c of “Current Balance” owed to Individual
      • Further infractions will increase deduction by 5c on each activity check failed. (ex.  4th infraction- 7c deduction)
    • Not completing branch tasks
      • 1st Infraction - 5c Deduction
      • 2nd Infraction - 10c of current pay owed to individual
      • Further Infractions of incomplete weekly tasks will increase deduction by 5c each week tasks aren’t completed.
  • The Department of the Treasury will maintain a record of failed activity checks and incompletion of tasks.
    • Fines will be displayed on the Pay Sheet
  • Each Infraction will last 2 weeks.

 


6. Bonus Payments

6.1 Recruitment Bonus

  • Employees will be remunerated one (1) credit per trainee or transfer recruited.
    • Recruitment bonuses are capped at 5c per day.

6.2 Bonus Verification

  • Members wanting to claim the Recruitment Bonus must post in the dedicated Discord channel (#recruitment-bonus) within 24 hours of training.

 


7. Salary Sacrifice Program

7.1 Voluntary Participation

  • Employees may opt to forego salary payments in exchange for the salary sacrifice program.
  • Members have to be approved by the President and Secretary of the Treasury to be eligible for the scheme
  • Employees who are part of the program MUST
    • Be at least GS-12
    • Earn 10 leaderboard points per month
    • Have 100% task completion for the month​​​​​​​​​​​
  • Participants receive:
    • monthly Habbo Club Membership, and;
    • access to an exclusive recognition badge

7.2 Removal from Program

  • The President and The Secretary of the Treasury may remove people from the program as they see fit.
 

 


8. Financial Contributors Program

8.1 Eligibility

  • Employees and non-employees that contribute a donation of 250 credits or more will qualify for badge access.
  • To arrange a donation, and to be considered eligible for the Financial Contributors Program, please contact:
    • The President, Secretary of the Treasury or any founder.

 


9. Enforcement & Compliance

9.1 Enforcement

  • This policy shall be enforced by the Department of Treasury and its Inspectors
    • Any mistakes on the Pay Sheet shall be reported to the Department immediately
