Executive Office of the President



The Executive Office of the President (EOP) is the highest executive administrative body in the White House. Members are immediate confidants of the President’s closest and most experienced staff, and these individuals are collectively responsible for the well-being and day-to-day operations of the White House.

The Executive Office of the President consists of the Office of the President and Office of the Vice President. It also consists of the Office of the White House Chief of Staff, who is responsible for personnel, operations, and policy implementation. Reporting to the Chief of Staff also consists the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy who both assists the Chief of Staff in Cabinet management. The Executive Office of the President also consists of the White House Counsel.
