President O.Stuart.O gathered everyone into the press briefing room August 23rd, 2026 for an important moment in the White House!
After much dedicated service, our Press Secretary has set down her pen, turned off her writing light, and closed the door on her journey with the Office of Communications. She’s not gone, though! Instead, gatorgal has opened a new door and it leads directly into the Executive Office of the President (EOP). She will serve as the Director of Public Liaison. Her work, her voice, and her leadership will continue to shape this administration in new amazing ways.

While the room here at the Office of Communication may be dimmer without our Press Secretary, the work continues, and we look forward to welcoming the next individual who will step into this vital role.
