Pay Policy Updates - What's New?
The Department of the Treasury recently announced some changes to the White House Pay Policy. In collaboration with the Secretary of the Treasury, xclebl, we wanted to provide a comprehensible list of the most recent changes. Here is a breakdown of the changes to this policy:
1. Daily Pay Caps
- Employees are now capped on the base pay (5 coins per hour) they are eligible to collect each day.
- For GS-5+ ranked employees, you can collect up to 20 coins per day (4 hours of work time) at the ordinary base rate.
- For employees ranked below GS-5, you can collect up to 10 coins per day (2 hours of work time) at the ordinary base rate.
- This cap does not apply to overtime credits that you can earn.
- All members earn 2 coins per hour for overtime work.
2. Alt Pay Caps
- Employees may now bring registered alts to the HQ and into the designated areas to collect alternative pay
- These accounts will earn 1 coin per hour.
- This pay is capped at 10 coins per day, per alternative account.
- There is no cap on how many registered alts an employee can have.
3. Low Ranks
- Low Ranks may not claim pay after their fifth day employed.
- This policy was implemented to encourage low ranks to join branches, where they will continue to collect pay.
4. Salary Penalties
- Employees can now be penalized for:
- Failing Activity Checks
- Not completing branch tasks
- Penalties are as follows:
- Failing Activity Checks.
- 1st Infraction - Warning
- 2nd Infraction - 10 coin deduction from "Current Balance" owed to the employee.
- 3rd Infraction - 5% of "Current Balance" owed to the employee
- Further infractions will increase the deduction by 5% of the "Current Balance" owed to the employee for each failed activity check.
- Not completing branch tasks.
- 1st Infraction - 10 coin deduction from "Current Balance" owed to the employee
- 2nd Infraction - 5% of "Current Balance" owed to the employee
- Further infractions will increase the deduction by 5% of the "Current Balance" owed to the employee for each week tasks aren't completed.
- All fines will be displayed on the Pay Sheet.
- Each infraction lasts for 2 weeks.
5. Bonus Payments (SS)
- Employees can earn 5 credits per trainee or transfer recruited.
- Recruitment bonuses do not affect daily pay caps.
- Employees wanting to collect bonus pay must now post in the dedicated Discord channel (#recruitment-bonus) within 24 hours of training.
With these changes in place, the Department of the Treasury hopes to see an increase in employee engagement, as well as the new implication of alternative pay! If you have any further questions regarding these recent policy changes, please reach out to the Department of the Treasury!
