Ghosts in the White House!
Gather Around! We’re telling ghost stories!
In a shocking turn of events, President O.Stuart.O stepped away from the White House for a short break, and like any household where parents leave for the weekend…
Chaos
Immediately
Blooms…
Within minutes, Seas., our Vice President slid into the Acting President role with the confidence of someone who just found out the adults aren’t home and the snacks are u n l i m i t e d.
And naturally, the first major announcement under this temporary administration was a PYJAAAAMMMAAA COSTUME CONTESTTT!
Gather forth, folks, for the cloak hath been lifted and uniforms are no more (for a short time only)! Our shackles fall from our legs and we are allowed to let the groove move through us and wash jovial cheer upon the entire White House!
WOoOoOoOoOo!!! *confetti toss*
As the night draws near, allow me to provide some thrilling tales from around the world. I’ve done the research (as best I can!)… and I hope I can make our friends around the globe PROUD. Or at least fed up enough with my crap that they share some thrilling stuff themselves with the class. :} MUAHAHAHAHAHA.
*dims the lights and hands everybody a juice box*
Real legends. Real folklore. Real reasons to sleep with the lights on.
Japan | The Kuchisake-Onna
A famous urban legend tells of a woman who appears at night wearing a surgical mask. She asks, “Do you think I’m beautiful?”. If you answer yes, she gives you a matching smile and if you say no… DUN DUN DUNNNNN. DEATH. People say she moves impossible fast, and that she can appear behind you in the blink of an eye. Falling upon her path means certain doom. *Muahahahah. Shines flashlight on face in the dark*
Scotland | The Grey Man of Ben Macdui
Hikers on Scotland’s second highest mountain have reported a towering, shadowy figure stalking through the mist. They never see him clearly, and only hear heavy footsteps behind them, matching their pace. Some say he’s a guardian spirit. Others say he’s something much older, watching from the fog. *breathes down necks for ambiance*
France | The Phantom of the Paris Catacombs
Deep beneath Paris lies a maze of tunnels filled with millions of bones. Explorers have reported seeing a man dressed in old miner’s clothing wandering silently through the dark. When approached, he vanishes into the stone walls. One famous video from the 1990’s shows a lost explorer dropping his camera and running, never to be found again. *flicks the lights on and off for dramatic effect* (We are ignoring the debunk where the guy's body was found 11 years later and caused this lore, but SHHHH.)
Norway | The Draugr of the Sea
Norwegian folklore warns of the Dragur, undead sailor who rise from shipwrecks. They appear as waterlogged corpses, dripping seawater, calling sailors by name to lure them into the ocean! Men who were lost at sea and now forever within it. Fishermen claim to hear knocking on their boat hulls at night, even when alone at sea… *GASP* (Good thing I’m not going to the ocean anytime soon!!!)
England | The Ghost of Pluckley Village
Called England’s most haunted village, Pluckley is home to many ghosts, but the most famous is the Screaming Man. Legend says he was a brickworker crushed in an accident, and his screams echo through the woods at night. Locals say the sound is unmistakable: a long, sharp cry that fades into silence and leaves a chill in your bones. Many can hear the wails from the Dering Woods!
As the pyjama party winds down and staff begin to question why they’re still awake at 4 AM wrapped in blankets like emotionally unstable burritos, one thing becomes clear: Acting President Seas. may have accidentally created the most iconic event of the administration.
*(Okay, when Haree rigged that Sabrina Carpenter performance… OMG. Sorry, Jake. He may still have you beat.)
And in the spirit of a good oldโfashioned pajama party, I hope this article inspires more people across the White House to share their own ghost stories, folklore, urban legends, and spooky little tales from around the world. Whether it’s a family myth, a hometown haunting, or something you experienced yourself... LETS HEAR IT!
After all, nothing brings a community together quite like snacks, pajamas, and the collective fear of something possibly lurking in the dark.
Sweet dreams, White House.

MEMORIES

A moment of silence for Corbulo. She’s not dead, but she retired from White House and we really miss her. </3
