Stories from the Old vol. 2

With the great State of the Union delivered by our honorable and beloved president, Stu, I now present to you a heart-warming memory from his time in the previous iteration of the Habbo White House. Thank you, Mr. President, for the great State of the Union and your story for this article.
This is the second part of the article series “Stories from the Old”. The article series “Stories from the Old” is about memories and funny stories from the previous iteration of the Habbo White House. The Habbo White House has always been a fun place to do serious work, and it will continue to be. Every story counts; let’s get our stories out there to help shape the history of the Habbo White House. Those who missed last week's article can read it in Stories from the Old, vol. 1.
This week's story is from our honorable and respected President O.stuart.O. He has a heart-warming story from the end of his term as the 58th Vice-President in the Financiers' White House. The year was 2020, and he was then Vice President to President --Maxitaxi--. I know both of them really well from back then, and I am deeply honored to present you President Stu's story.
It was March 28th, I'm sure, it was our official last day. The inauguration was that night. I had planned to run for President in the March 2020 election, however due to a real life incident that took place, I could not commit nor have the time for higher office and it was a big real life scare. So I had to suspend my campaign for President.
On the lead up to inauguration day, I invited several folk to the Vice President's office and thanked them for their service during that term. I intended to preside over one last debate as Vice President on March 28th, so the Congress scheduled one in for me. I presided as normal but at the end the floor pushed for several statements from several members whom stood up and relayed their thanks and said many kind words. At that time, the Vice President was a goal I had been wanting to achieve for 8 years as I joined the Habbo WH initially in January 2012. It was very heartwarming and they appreciated me as Vice President being quite consistent with presiding over sessions, it was something I committed to doing whilst Vice President back then. So to see those members stand up and thank me for my service and say all the kind words that they did, it really meant a lot to me and really ended that day and term on a massive positive note after a difficult period given what had happened in real life.
The overall environment back then I would say is similar to now, people really love the White House because it offers the agency community something different to most. We have a legislative procedure where we can create our own laws, a Judiciary with our own courts system, a SS dedicated training branch. Plus we elect our leaders every so often and it feels like people really appreciate the opportunities we provide after the WH was closed between October 2022 - December 2025.
I am happy to have been part of this history and never imagined I would be considered a founder in the history of the Habbo White House.
Thank you, Mr. President Stu, for your heart-warming and great story and for the amazing work you are doing in our new White House!

As I didn’t get any responses from last week, I’ll continue with last week's
location, hint: it’s somewhere in Asia. This is a weekly geography lesson in which a picture or hint about a geographic location or landmark is provided, and readers must guess where it is and what it is.
If you want to participate, add a comment below or write to me directly with your answer. A person who guesses correctly will be introduced in next week's (still to be decided) article and will win 10 coins.
Where is it, and what is in the picture? >>
I'll add some pictures I got from President Stu, from his Vice Presidential term back in the previous iteration of the White House.
